Pet Friendly all-year around on powered sites except for a few super peak times which is Easter Long Weekend, Christmas (23 Dec – 5 Jan). We are very pet-friendly and you are more than welcome to bring them up to the artificial turf and picnic table area of the restaurant. The no go zone for dogs is just inside the pool fence and the amenity blocks.
Rivershore Resort doesn’t permit campfires on individual camp sites, however we have two (2) communal fire pits located through out the park for our guests to enjoy.
Rivershore Resort has opted for metered power at all of our sites, what does this mean for you? That you only pay for what you use. Like more and more parks we have chosen to implement this system as we believe it is a fairer way of charging guests. Meaning that smaller set ups aren’t subsidising the larger setups.
We can confidently say that power is between $1 – $3 for 95% of vans and far less if you are camping or have solar panel setups.
In February 2018 the average power charge across all caravan, RV and camping guests was $1.76/day.
Power is charged at a simple $0.20kWh which is cheaper than any household in Australia. So anything you plug in at Rivershore is charged less than if you plugged in at home.
Rivershore Resort is 100% tourism based, with no permanents and a maximum stay length of 28 days.
Yes, ‘Driftwood’ restaurant and bar is open to the public. We are fully licensed, however BYO Wine ONLY is permitted – corkage is $10 per Bottle. Open for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner – 7 Days a Week. We recommend making a reservation by calling 07 5458 2200 especially for large groups and functions.
Rivershore Resort designated smoking area is out in the visitor carpark or on your own powered site.
Rivershore Resort permits day guests who are using the Driftwood Restaurant. We charge $25 per person who is using the pool facilities, which comes with a $15 voucher back to the restaurant. Any large groups looking to come in, must book at the Restaurant prior to arrival including birthday parties.
Yes, Rivershore Resort has its own private boat ramp for those who wish to launch from the Resort. Any craft over 6m will need to use the public boat ramp located 1km down the road.
Rivershore Resort aims to bring that sense of enjoyment for kids to get among the outdoors in a safe environment. Our entire Resort is a shared zone and speed limit is capped at 10km/hour. As such, speeding through the Resort will not be tolerated. To ensure children’s safety we advise parents to inform their kids to only use their equipment within the park and not go outside the boomgates where public traffic and check-ins/check outs are frequent.
